Q1 2021 Performance of Top Arcade Racing Apps on Android in Australia

In the first quarter of 2021, the Australian Android market for Arcade Racing apps saw varied performance among top contenders. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Shortcut Run, published by VOODOO, showed a declining trend in downloads from 11K in the last week of December 2020 to 4K by the end of March 2021. Weekly active users also decreased from approximately 28K to 17K in the same period. Revenue peaked at 66K USD in late December but saw a general downward trend, closing at 11K USD in the last measured week.

ABC Runner by JoyPac, released in Australia in early February 2021, experienced a surge in downloads, peaking at 22K in the week of February 22, followed by a decline to around 8K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a peak at 43K and a reduction to 17K by quarter's end.

Zynga's Gear Race 3D saw a significant drop in downloads from 16K in late December to under 2K by the end of March. Weekly active users also decreased from 17K to 4K. Notably, revenue data for Gear Race 3D was not available, indicating a lack of monetization during this period.

Mamboo Games LLC's Shift race: Car racing games had a significant spike in downloads to 24K in late January, which then declined to around 1K by the end of March. Weekly active users started strong at 29K but decreased to 13K over the quarter.

Lastly, Scribble Rider, another VOODOO title, experienced a gradual decrease in downloads from 6K to nearly 3K and active users from 15K to 7K. Revenue remained relatively stable but on the lower end, ranging from 30K USD to 21K USD.
